A firm foundation of academic excellence enables us to support and inspire the bio scientists of the future. We offer undergraduates a broad-based training with specialist options across the discipline, while postgraduates can take advantage of a supportive and stimulating research environment.

The University’s £50m investment in a Life Sciences Building illustrates the commitment to learning and innovation in the biological sciences. Biological sciences moved into the new building in autumn 2010, providing academics, researchers and students with a thriving collaborative environment and cutting-edge facilities.
